               Kira is a rescue dog, age and birth date unknown. It is known            Juliet was an abandoned dog, picked

               that she'd been badly abused and as a result is very timid. She's          up by Animal Control and offered for

               learning to trust people and is happy to have toys to play with             adoption. She's estimated to be 1 1/2

               for the first time. She carries them everywhere and takes them            years old--still a puppy and very playful.

               to bed with her at night.                                                                     She and Kira are becoming good friends.

A sometime hobby of mine is raising monarch butterflies. Here you see a pupa, a newly emerged butterfly with several empty chrysalises, and a butterfly with wings outspread, ready for its first flight.
